It is recommended that you be one or more of the following to test-out:
a participant/student who has successfully completed a NFPT Education Partner prep course or trainer workshop
an experienced personal trainer with one or more certifications from other accredited personal trainer program/s/
an educated study with a thorough background and/or degree in the exercise sciences
Familiarization with Human Anatomy
Understanding Principles of Human Physiology
Applying the 5 Fitness Components
Ability to Develop, Implement and Modify Exercise Training Programs
Recognizing Professional and Communication Skills
one (1) year to take and pass the certification exam
there is NO ADDITIONAL FEE ($0!) to take the exam
750/1000 points to pass (there are 120 multiple choice questions)
exam results the same day that you test
re-taking the exam is $119 (make your studies count; you won’t need to re-take – you got this!)
FREE Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for the life of your certification
2.0 CECs per year (but not until you have been certified for one full year; the CEC requirement starts in year 2)
recertification for only $85 a year to renew (no CEC fees for recertification!)
